Primary School (Grade 1–6)
Our Primary School is divided into Lower Primary (Grades 1-3) and Upper Primary (Grades 4-6). This stage is dedicated to building a solid foundation in literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy. In Grades 1 through 3, learners are introduced to a broad range of learning areas, including Indigenous Languages, Kiswahili, English, and Religious Education. As they progress into Upper Primary, the complexity increases with the introduction of Agriculture, Nutrition, Science and Technology, and Social Studies. A central feature of this stage is the shift from a teacher-centered approach to learner-centered activities, where students engage in projects that build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. At the end of Grade 6, students sit for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), which serves as a monitoring tool for their transition into Junior School.
